Hiking- There are many nearby hiking trails, whether you are a weekend adventurer or a seasoned hiker.

Tennis- Local tennis courts are a short 5 minute drive from Cedarwood.

Golf- Courses abound in the scenic Adirondack Mountains. A short drive (or a long iron) will find you at the club house of one of several local and well maintained courses.

Beach- You only have to look out your front door for your own private beach. If you wish, you can enjoy the large sandy beach located within Old Forge or a quick 10 minute drive to Nick's Lake for camping, picnicking and swimming in a clear, cool mountain lake.

Kayaking- What a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the lakes, in a quiet and relaxing way. Kayak rentals can be found at several locations within 10 minutes of Cedarwood's back door. 

Movies- This is a great find for the those who look to get out of the sun and see the latest movies. The local theater is a renovated old-style theater that shows 4 current movies for your enjoyment.

Boating- While Twin Pond is for non-motorized boats only, you can enjoy the town docks to launch your motorized boat. You will then have access to several lakes located in the Fulton Chain of lakes.

Water Park- Let's not forget Enchanted Forest Water Safari! Grab your bathing suits, kids and suntan lotion and prepare yourself for an awesome adventure at one of the Adirondack's largest water parks located in the middle of Old Forge. It is only 8 minutes away....and better yet, after a long hard day at the water park, home is only 8 short minutes back to Cedarwood.
